What are Core Web Vitals?

Google regularly update their algorithm, which changes how search results are served to people. In June, there will be a major update that focuses on “Page Experience”, which will start taking into account three new metrics.

You can find out more about these in our blog, What are Core Web Vitals and how do you improve them?

Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)

LCP measures the loading performance of your website, meaning that there’s a far greater emphasis on serving up content as quickly as possible.

First Input Delay (FID)

This measures how long it takes for your site to respond to an interaction.

Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)

Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) measures the visual stability of the page and the frequency of which a user might experience some unforeseen changes to the layout.

How To Prepare

As with most things, preparation is the key to success. With this in mind, our Core Web Vitals audit aims to provide you with all of the information needed to make informed decisions.

For only £250, one of our experienced technical experts can conduct an in-depth review of your entire website, by looking specifically for Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
